I'm running two traces are saved to a table (SQL7). A domain admin in the other room is trying to run a query off my trace tables-he can only see one of them and it shows 0 records, although there are over 1 million. He and the domain admin group have dbo permission on the whole db.
Any ideas? We have an email into BindView.

When you say you are running these traces, is this is profiler or xp_trace... procdures to create a queue? If profiler then what happens when you close profiler, can they see then. How are you seeing the number of rows generated, is there something different? Have you tried defining a trace queue and running?

Antares, thanks for writing back.
I had one trace table from a trace that was previously run. That's the one he could see in the list, but it did not have any data.
Then, I started a new one and left it running. He could not see it. Maybe he needs to restart the application, or something?
I just don't know anything about BindView--it doesn't look like it's going to have any great SQL features for the project we're using it for. I'm sure it's good for other situations...and network management.
I wrote a reporting application that compiles the SQL stats we need on our other production dbs and that seems more informative and useful right now.
Oh well...
