Beware: msde2000 sp4 no longer usable on Win98/ME

    In case you need to support Windows 98 and ME, it might interest you that MSDE no longer installs on these operating systems since servicepack 4.

    That's because Microsoft no longer supports those Operating System versions.

    Modifying the installer for MSDE in such a way that it now refuses to install on Win98 is a little bit more serious than just ceasing to *support* a given configuration. They no longer *allow* it!
