Hi
I am currently filtering data on a report using wildcards which is the only way I know how to filter. The problem I am having is that when selecting period 1 the report is also pulling in data for periods 10,11 & 12. If I make this report filter to exact then I get no return on my report. Is there a better way to do this filter so when the parameter is put in it only returns the data for that period?
Thanks
Chris
P.s apologies for asking so many questions at the moment, but I am self taught on SSRS using what I can from my excel knowledge which doesn't always work on SSRS

Are you connecting to a SQL database? How do you build your data set?

Hi Luis
Yes I am connecting to a SQL database. The report is built using the report builder connected to our finance program (SSRS 2014) but I assume the data sourse is a diritive of the sql tables as it references to report manager not the actual sql database
Thanks
Chris
