Error message is
Line: 2
char: 1
Error: Syntax error
Code: 0
url: http://www.sqlservercentral.com/forums/post.aspx?forumid=5&messageid=19578
And i can not type anything in text editor for posting my reply (although clicking on smileys does show text such as :blink etc)

Can you also implement a feature of Closing a discussion?
Anyone of following can mark a discussion as closed.
1. member who started discussion
2. Moderator
3. Admin
4. Any other Superuser levels that you might have in Forum.
While closing, the "closer" has to put up remarks about the question & the accepted answer to his/her quesion in discussion.
( I feel that usually the posts are for a specific question. )
This closed Quesion and Answer Post can make up a really good knowledge base for Any SQL Professional.

Interesting idea. We'll kick that around. Hang in on there on the refresh issue, still changing some things.

I'm not sure if a 'normal' user (even the original questioner himself) should be able to close a thread. Such a feature could easily be misused or not used in the way it is supposed to. Only moderators or admins should have the ability to do so. They should also take care for cross posts or posts in inappropriate categories.
I guess the new software offers this functionality to move, lock or delete threads?

Tend to agree, don't like to see threads closed. If the suggestion worked, let us know, but I like to have others be able to continue the thread if need be.

As of 20:42 (my time zone ) trying to get into the new forums yields this 'Access denied' page http://www.sqlservercentral.com/accessdenied.aspx?SourceURL=/forums/Default.aspx .
Intentionally or not?

Lets say accidentally! Made some incremental changes, at time not everything was working. Starting the copy of the latest build now.

Suggestion - can the code be manipulated to produce a page title for the browser window/tab?
