Are the packages stored in msdb or filestore?

FileStore. They're all in a single directory and are run using C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft SQL Server\100\DTS\Binn\DTExec.exe. Each package has a package configuration file that sets the runtime variables.

Thanks but that requires manually adding each of the 400 packages to a Project first. I'm looking for something automated.
