Currently I use pkzip2.5 to unzip files that contain text files with data for import. A few weeks ago this utility stopped unziping one text file and simply says it can't create the file. When I unzip it using the windows version of pkunzip it unzips without a problem. Unfortunately, I can't make a DTS package use the windows version of pkunzip.
Are there other ways to unzip files for use by a DTS package?

The command line version of PKZip should work, there is also a freeware dll that you can use I think. I'll see if I can find it for you.

Try this one (this is actually an article about using it):

Thanks! I read the article and must say I was hoping it would be simpler than that. It would take me time to learn what I need to know to make it work for me.
Also, I rebooted the server and now it is working so hopefully an alternate solution won't be needed.
