Best Way to Provide Customer Access to Their Data Warehouse data

    Hello,

    One of our customers requested access to their data in Data Warehouse, what is the best way to provide them the data?

    Our data warehouse is on one of our local servers.

    What do they mean by access to their data?  Do they want full access to the entire database?  Are there specific datasets they want to analyze?  Depending on what they want and how big the database is you have a number of options from simply giving them a back up of the database they can load to sending them specific reports however often they want.

    Customers cannot have direct access to the DW.

    Available records via Business Intelligence or visualization are the only access level they could be delegated. Datasets are prepared by data analyst or data specialist (or equivalent personnel) for end-users utilization.
