I am interested in how some of the seasoned Access/SQL Server developers pull in the data for their forms. I am working on a DB that will have a lot of Forms with search criteria options and the search results displayed in a subform and I would really like to spark a conversation on what methods are used and why.
Thanks.

By far, the most helpful resource I have found is Microsoft Access Developer's Guide to SQL Server by Mary Chipman and Andy Baron, available on Amazon.com
Your topic is a bit broad. Perhaps you can be more specific.

I created store procedures in the backend, call it from pass-through queries in front-end, and use them as recordsource. By doing this, I have a lot of flexibilities to manupulate data in store procedures.
