Hi,
What is the best practice/considerations in setting up the MSSQL and SQL Agent services for multiple servers? I want to use the same domain account for both services. However, should each server use a different domain account, or should all servers use the same 1 account? My initial thought is that how do you tell your alerts generated from the different servers?
ie: Server 1 = for both services uses ... YourDomain\SqlService1
Server 2 = for both services uses ... YourDomain\SqlService2
Server 3 = for both services uses ... YourDomain\SqlService3
or
Server 1 = for both services uses ... YourDomain\SqlService1
Server 2 = for both services uses ... YourDomain\SqlService1
Server 3 = for both services uses ... YourDomain\SqlService1
Many thanks. Jeff
