hi all,
sorry about thetypo ,
i am a newbe here so hope u guys help me out ,
we are upgrading from 00 to 05 , before this ,i need to delete some files in the old server , ( say server ADDADA). they have giving me the path (eg, d:\folder\file).
how to go about it?
i am thinking in these lines.....
log on to system , map the network drive to my computer and than go to the given path and than delete the files.
let me know please if it is correct ,

We can help, but please take a few minutes to read your post and then correct the grammar so it can be read and explain it a little clearer. You say you "need to need" some files, which doesn't make sense.

Are these database files? If so, you probably shouldn't delete the files, unless they belong to a database that is no longer needed (then you would delete the database which in turn deletes the files).
Have you run the migration wizard for the upgrade yet. That can give you a solid start on changing from 00 to 05.
