  • Hi Faizal,

In order to assist you, it would be most helpful if you could provide a DDL script that creates your table, as well as a sample input file (as an attachment) that contains the data you listed. From your post it is totally unclear what the delimiters between the columns are or even where the delimiters are supposed to be. By the way, why are you storing dates as "feb2009", i.e. as a string? Is that how the data comes in from an external system? I sincerely hope you don't store it in SQL in that format. Will be a futile attempt trying to extract this data in a decently sorted fashion once it is on the server. OK, it can be done, but performance will suck.

    Regards,
