That can also be solved by "escaping" that particular character, when not doing by user control.

Hi Everyone,
I checked the directory to the share and I do have access to it.
Sue,
I went ahead with your suggestion, created the .bat file; ran it and it created the .txt file successfully. I then added it to an execute process task in my SSIS package and it works beautifully!!! I think my permissions restrict me from using the fsutil utility.
