That's a good question. I was thinking data oriented, building skills to work with the language, but there's probably room for 2 if someone wants to explain R to DBAs, show installation, etc.

Huh. So from a developer perspective, using R and distribution of values to familiarize yourself with "standard" vs "edge" cases in the databases you are not familiar with? Is this something that already exists in the SQL toolset that I'm not aware of? Because this might be exactly what I need to get new hires up to speed faster...
