Hi,
We are planning to implement Log Shipping for Share point databases in SQL Server 2005.For this I need to give the Network requirements to Network Team. So what are things I need to consider and provide the details to Network team.
Currently, the log back file size max is 50MB. How we calculate bandwidth for this?
thanks

Well the network team should probably calculate the bandwidth. But for a QUICK ESTIMATE (you really need to test), take your network speed, subtract 20-30% for overhead and calculate the time.
100Mb ~9MB per second, so say 5 seconds to copy 50MB over 100Mb connection.
I would just run the TL backups on the regular schedule you plan to use for log shipping and send them a list of files, when they were generated and their sizes.
