Backups changes table stats ?

    Hello, does full backup changes the fragmentation level or statistics of the tables within the databse ? I am asking this quesiton from the view that if someone has performance issue in production environment then can we create ideal situation by taking full backup of the produciton DB and restore it in any other environment ?

    No. A restore will recreate the DB exactly as it was at the time of backup.
