Hi all,
I have database in 600gb at exchange server in SAN.
How do i take backup quickly??
If any method is available?????

Yes i go with thasteve, snapshot and cloning is the way to go on SAN.

I will suggest to take a complete backup here. Use litespeed/redgate if you have it. Otherwise native backup is also ok.
But taking a full backup is the safest approach.

Please let me know if you need more info. I guess for 600GB, it will hardly take around 2 hours if you use litespeed and if your server is in good shape.

use redgate backup tool and have the complete database backup

You could also go in for a TSM backup procedure!!:P

Are you asking how to backup a SQL Server or Exchange Server?
