  I know that when performing a backup I can set the percentage of the completed restore via the Stats option, thus when I run this in QA I can see how much has been restored.

  Is there a way to see the percentage of a restore that is running from a job or another process that I am not running through QA?

  Yes, just set the stats option in the command in the job in the same way as you would if you were running it in Query Analyzer.
