For the plan that still does not work, did you try changing the "Local Server Connection" in the maintenance plan to a custom one with the account used being Windows NT Integrated security? What account starts the Integration Services service on that machine (View this in services.msc dialogue)?
I don't remember what exactly setting I had before but I did change it and also tried adding new ones.

I see two different errors in that message....
1. Permissions Issue
2. Server/Instance connection issue
Can you make sure the account which you're using to run the job has sysadmin rights.....
For the second error ... Check the connection(server info and authentication) within the package to make sure it is connecting to the correct server and has right permissions for that account .....
If you see no issues till here ... please look into SQL Server Error Logs to see if you could find any additional information.....
