backup from tables on one server into files or folders of another server

    Hi guys,

    I have a task to take a backup of tables present on one server onto files or folders on another server using import export or SSIS packages.Can anyone please help me out in telling me the procedure for this.

    You can design an SSIS package to export the tables to excel \ csv etc on another server.

    Share the folder in the destination server

    Provide modify privilege to Source server SQL Service account

    Call this share in SSIS package[/font]

    You could use the data export wizard to create the files and then the data import wizard as well. It will create SSIS packages in the wizard that you can look at and modify if needed.
