Hi Experts,
This backup is part of BizTalk Server and i am trying to backup database A from Instance 2 , backup job exists in Instance 1 the job is showing executing as Agent account and failing with error access denied to create file on Instance 1. I give R\W access to Agent Account but its still failing. The linked server between Instance 1 and Instance 2 is running 'Be made using Logins Current Security Context'.
Can you please let know why its throwing access denied error?

The backup process runs under the system process on the server where the backup is occurring. This means even when you call it remotely, it's running locally. So, the local service login has to have permissions to wherever you're attempting to backup to.
