  Hi All,

  Does anyone know if there is a way of deciphering where a backupfile has come from on restore (i.e. the server it was backed up in).

  I'm trying to tie up backup and restores for DR purposes and want to ensure the backup is coming from the right server.

  You can use RESTORE HEADERONLY command to get the details..
