  Hi,

  I have server with database(65 GB) consist of 6 secondary files. Everyday i am using backup file of database to restore as reporting database. Its always been a problem of Execution of the DTS package which include

  - Step 1 - Drop Database

• SQL ORACLE

  One Orange Chip

  VDI error can be caused by some reasons. The following one is one of them.

  VDI error 1000: Failed to recognize the SQL Server instance

  If you can provide the error message in detail, I believe soneone in this forum can assist you.
