    Hi

    I started getting the below error on one of my production server. But all the back jobs are fine. Could any one please guide what could be the issue?

    On the same issue.. could any one please tell if DBGHOST locks the schema while it is scripting out some database?

    Lots of questions to answer ...

    How are you performing the database backup ?By a maintenance plan ? By a transact SQL statement ? By a third party product ?

    Have you tried to uninstall dbghost and reppeat your backuop process ato find out if it is interfereing with SQL ? Are there any other 3rd party applications on the database server ? Are there any user applications installed on the SQL Server ?
