Backup failed

    Hi....

    Plz help me, how i can solve this problem.

    "BACKUP failed to complete the command BACKUP DATABASE. Check the backup application log for detailed messages."

    Message

    Error: 3041, Severity: 16, State: 1.

    Have you looked at the logs? Do they have any more information? If you haven't looked, have a look at the job history (right-click the job under SQL Server Agent - Jobs in SSMS) and also look at the current Error Log under SQL Server Agent - Error logs. The event viewer may also have information. Maybe it is failing due to disk space.
