Backup Device

    In Enterprise manager i can see Backup device.In that there are number of backup devices.will there be any schedule for taking backups?

    The backup device you see in Enterprise Manager is merely a logical name for a file where backups are stored. It has nothing to do with a backup schedule. A schedule is related to a SQL Server Agent job.
