backup and restore previlages of non sysadmin

  How can give permissions to a non sysadmin to backup and restore any database on server. I want to do this for a user on Test server.

  I thought of using db_backupoperator but it is a db role but not server role.

  try this iam also not sure

  give DBCREATOR in serverrole and db_backupoperator in database role

  normaly bulkadmin and public are common to non sysadmin

  check in this

  and one doubt why are u giving the non sysadmin [is he/she also a DBA ] these backup and restore previllages ??????/?
