backup and restore

    hi,

    I want to restore backup using web interface in that user can select the appropriate backup file from list and then resore that to database .

    suppose we have a 12 backup file and user want to restore 10th file so he/she can select 10 th file from the list and restore that to there database.

    i need help very urgent

    please provide soon

    hi this proably doesn't help you but i would think very carefully before allowing users to restore the database themselves, this has the potential to alot of trouble... if you do proceed with this then user that runs the web applicatio will need the neccessary permissions for performing backups and restores.
