I apologize but I made a mistake and put this in the "7,2000" Forum when it should have gone in the this Forum. Is it possible to backup 2K8 R2 and any later version of SQL to the cloud using Azure or do you have to use some third party tool?

There are a number of tools that allow you to mount an HTML connection as a drive, so you don't even have to use the Microsoft tool if you don't want to.
