- Entity Framework Steve? What are you planning to learn there out of interest? I have nightmares over it. The amount of vendor applications the company I work for buys that use Entity is just incredible and not surprisingly the db performance is rubbish because the vendors just treat the db as adata repository rather than something that needs tuning and looking after. At least it keeps me in a job working with all these vendors to try and make their dbs perform better :
There are ways that it can work well, and there are some people that are quite happy. My goal is to learn more about the ways that you can build solid apps with EF. I know there are some fundamental principles that consultants often fix and improve performance. I'd like to be better informed on what they are and publish some writing on these.

Thought so, look forward to you doing some blogging around it.
