Hi,
i have enable the awe on the sqlserver and given min memory 1024MB,maximum memory 6124MB .after enabling the awe i have run dbcc memory status command in that i t showing awe allocated is 0.
my machines has 8GB RAM.
Any help highly appreciated...........

x32 only uses awe. you must have the /pae switch set in boot.ini. you must set awe option on, you must set max memory. min memory is ignored with awe, you take all memory in one hit up to defined max. you'll need lock pages in memory. have a look in the sql error log it should tell you what's missing.
if you're using x64 awe doesn't do anything.

Hi,
Everything is done........but when i run dbcc memory status & sp_configure it showing AWE allocated is zero.......
