Automating Backups with SQL 2005

    Hi, I am new to SQL 2005, and wanted to know if anybody has information on the best way to automate Full, Differential, and Transaction Log backups in SQL 2005.

    The fastest way to get started is to use the Maintenance Plan Wizard.

    You should also ready about Backup and Recovery in SQL Server 2005 Books Online.

    I'd agree with Michael. Go through the maintenance plan wizard for a start.

    Didn't this site have a review or walkthrough on that very subject as well... I though I recall reading one a while back (maybe more than a year back I suppose) that walked through the screens to do that... at least I think it was this site...???

    Anyone have a link to that for the OP by chance?
