  • Though my SQL Servers services are set to auto start when i reboot the computer but stilll they are not starting up, i have to manually start the services, what would be the problem.

    Thanks

  • Did you change your password!

If you changed your password, you should go to configure manually to start services with new password!

As he mentioned above NO, he can starts services manually without any error msgs!

But reasons that services are not started will recorded in the event viewer.

  • Just curios: Is SQL agent startup is manual or auto start?

  • Tara, could you please answer Dugi's question. There must be something in the event logs.

I agree. And I would check both the SQL Server AND Windows logs.
