Auto Save / Auto recover in Management Studio?

    Same problem.

    When I kill the ssms process via the task manager. The Solution1 folder has been created but is empty :angry:

    KInd of related to this thread and kind of not - maybe somebody can tell me if I have an option...

    Was running a query on a dev box - it takes a long time to run there but that's another day's work

    Windows rebooted on me so I lost my session but on the server I can see the spid running along happily.

    Is there any way I can connect a new session to that spid so that I can get the results without having to restart the query?
