  Hi,

  We have upgraded from sql server 2000 to 2005 using in-place upgrade. sql server 2000 has Mixed mode Authentication and while upgrade, I has selected windows only authentication and the upgrade was successful.But After the upgrade,when I checked in the server properties in management studio, Authentication is Mixed mode again.

  Could you please tell me why the authentication has changed back to Mixed mode.

  Iam not sure but my guess your sql 2000 had many sql authentication logins/users, thats why you get mixed mode.
