Auditing login failure using profiler

  Hi,

   

  Is it possible to user profiler to audit login failure and to send the results to a table. Any one any ideas?

  Yes, setup a trace for those events and set the logging as a table. You can build a server side trace and have it run as a startup procedure.

  Hello,

  For 'login failure' not much is being traced by the profiler if the user tries to use SQL Authentication... Anyone knows a way of tracking more information for that event? IP address of the computer or something tangible?
