Attention, attaching a database without a log file only works if no "Memory-Optimized Tables" were used!

Quick thought: Do not use the default size and growth property values; rather, use more practical settings that fit the database's usage patterns.

In newer Versions of SQL Server and SSMS you don't need to remove the missing LDF. Please correct your article. It seems it is for old SQL Server 2005 or 2008 not for the new versions.
