I think that is a good suggestion. Unfortunately the outsourced IT company that hosts the server won't allow us to install anything. They have to do it all. Which has really put a wrench in the project work. Was hoping to get around this without having to go that route. I have appreciated all your help! Thanks

If you are not even allowed to deploy a report, what on earth are you doing spending your time and ours trying to figure out why the installation is broken? Get them to fix it!

I just remembered that I took a backup of the database 3 days ago! Will try a restore first.

I restored the ReportServer and now I can bring up the website! The issue must have been that missing row in the Catalog table.

I can deploy reports. I just can't install SQL Server and Reporting Services. I was responding to your statement:
"I would say that if you have connectivity and the catalog is empty, then it is worth creating a new RS database.
It sounds like someone has messed with the existing one and it's going to be quicker to create a new one.

Wasn't trying to waste you time. Obviously there was a communicate problem. If you are so concerned about your time then why are you on this site responding to posts? I would have appreciated your help a lot more if you didn't come across as aggressive and insulting. Have a great day 🙂

When you're up to your ears in alligators and you really need to solve a problem, it's quite easy to take an alternate suggestion the wrong way. The phrase "wasting your time and ours" was probably a poor choice of words and could have been a bit more sugar coated but Maggo was just suggesting that working with the 3rd party vendor might be more productive with this problem.
