Let me just re-phrase the question or clarify.....I know how to restart SQL in cluster...this is what I know....Cluster Administrator, select SQL Server resource, then take offline, followed by bring online.
My question was is there anything else that I need to know or I need to do extra due to the upgrade....before and after? What are some of the steps that need to take to complete?
Thanks,
TA

Personally I would follow these steps.
Pause the passive node in the cluster
Perform the netbackup upgrade on the passive node
Test make sure it works
Uninstall/Reboot depending on above
Unpause the passive node
Fail over SQL
Pause the new passive node
Perform the netbackup upgrade
Test
Uninstall/Reboot
Unpause the node
Repeat until all nodes in cluster have been upgraded.

Thanks Anthony.....Do I need to backup before and after?

I would only do a backup of the OS using something like Acronis or doing a snapshot if its a VM, SQL should be ok as your not doing anything to SQL its all OS based.
Even the above might be a bit overkill as if all your doing is upgrading Netbackup, you could just uninstall the new verion and reinstall the old version.
But if you want to backup SQL just incase you can.
