I have 2 separate installs of SSRS 2008 R2. For one install (scenario 1) when I assign a role to the root folder all of the folders within get that role attached to it. On the other install (scenario 2) when i assign a role to the root folder that role does not get attached to the folder/files within.
Is there a global setting that I can modify to have it behave either way.
I prefer to manually add the roles within the root folder and than only add them to the ones that I choose (scenario 2)
