Are you a Military Vet?

  • With Memorial Day just around the corner, I am interested in seeing what percent of you are Veterans. I salute each and every Veteran as well as all the Military Families during this time of remembrance!

  • A salute from me as well.

Sadly, I tried to join the Navy, 4H (bad ear) and too young (and prideful) to accept being turned down by the submariners.

  • Air Force. Served 4 years. Oldest daughter is entering the Army, leaves for Basic training end of July.

  • For those old enough to remember Korean Peace Keeping otherwise known as the Korean War

If everything seems to be going well, you have obviously overlooked something.

  • Yep, in the Navy on Subs. Hated it, but I'm glad I did it.

Yep... me too! Fast Attacks. Loved the Submarine Service and teaching electronics and computer programming for shore duty... hated the Navy.
