I just wonder it seems in my area all the SQL Server job requires DBA experience, .Net , C#, BI and any reporting tools (Crystal report, Business Objects...).
There is hardly any DBA job at all. It seems most companies want to hire someone to be the DBA, developer, .....anything except sweeping the floor.

It usually depends on the size of the company and how many databases: If they do not have enough to justify a full-time dba-only, then they will split the job between that and other functions (like development).

Around here, I've found that either the recruiting companies or HR don't really know what the job requires, so scatter the add with buzzwords.
