I think Paul Randall has been successful in convincing our "plagiarizer" that there was an error in his way of doing things. We just have to wait and see now.

    Was that via twitter?

yep, and it took many posts. Sometimes that 140 characters/post is a real nuissance.

I don't follow him, but I don't think he is seeing the light. He's been a DBA for 9 years. You can't claim ignorance on this kind of stuff.

I started following him this afternoon just to see what he was saying. The few (2-3) comments I posted got me 9 new followers in 90 minutes.

One of these days (probably nights) I'm going to have to check out what this twitter thing is. It's blocked at work. Am I the only person in the world not using (following?) twitter.

    Nope, you're not alone.

Just thought of a great idea for an article for one of you forum vets. Top 10 DBAs Myths

That should stir up plenty of controversy. Maybe it should be done for 4/1

The biggest controversy would be trimming it down to 10! 😛

Has anybody heard any news about Barry's surgery?

No, but why don't you use TimeWarp to go forwards to the day he comes back and see what he says. 😛

    See above... um, or below?

A thought just occurred to me.

We see several people complaining about the English in the QOD. What if we responded to all QOD comments for a given time period in another language? Think that would ruffle some more feathers?

    Klingon?

Nah, Meesa-latin (Jar-jar's native tongue) is the standout choice. 😛

I'm pretty sure Tolkein's Elf language is published somewhere. That's sure to boil someone's blood.

If you're going to do Tolkein, then Entish would be my choice. You know, that's the one that takes a day and a half to say "Hello"?
