Are the posted questions getting worse?

  • I bought a winmo phone so I could do programming for it. Now 2 years later and I have yet to do so. Now I can't help but wonder if it's worth it because Win 7 Phone will not be backwards compatible. Hopefully converting old programs to work with the new OS will not be too complicated, al least for simple apps.

  • +1 for tablets.

I used to have one and find it very useful for browsing and email.

The (only?) downside of a tablet is that it still needs a windows OS, that gets slower every day because of security updates, 'till apoint when you have to install the OS from scratch.

It's something I personally hate and don't understand and I'm just trying to figure out what would think of it my father or any other non-tech user...

Maybe a limited OS like i-pad has would make things better. Or worse.

What year? (My birthday was yesterday, so I'm curious as to what the actual age difference is.) If you'd rather not say, then don't.

No worries there. Work then off for the SNESSUG meeting. No chances of having too much fun.
