I bought a winmo phone so I could do programming for it. Now 2 years later and I have yet to do so. Now I can't help but wonder if it's worth it because Win 7 Phone will not be backwards compatible. Hopefully converting old programs to work with the new OS will not be too complicated, al least for simple apps.

+1 for tablets.
I used to have one and find it very useful for browsing and email.
The (only?) downside of a tablet is that it still needs a windows OS, that gets slower every day because of security updates, 'till apoint when you have to install the OS from scratch.
It's something I personally hate and don't understand and I'm just trying to figure out what would think of it my father or any other non-tech user...
Maybe a limited OS like i-pad has would make things better. Or worse.

I am happy to trial (a free) one and report back 😀

What year? (My birthday was yesterday, so I'm curious as to what the actual age difference is.) If you'd rather not say, then don't.
