Has anyone noticed the success/failure rate on the QOD today?74% incorrect for Paul Randal's question on Checksum. Numbers are similar to his question the other day.
The Correct% always jumps way up on the next working day after. See if you can guess why ... 😀
hmm, why? Because some people aren't smart enough to cheat on the same day? 😀
I do find that interesting. A lot of them do that very thing. I try to answer the question when it becomes available - if I am still awake.

It's all part of The Thread's plot to take over the world. You may very well be the only defense we have left!
Resistance is futile. You will be assimilated.
I will fight till my last breath. I will not allow THE THREAD take over the whole world...

Must be Canadian, eh?
I'm the only Canadian content involved in that one.
Just playing off some of the tweets today regarding Canadians and bacon. 😛

That's what I was thinking and don't worry, no harm done.

Well, looks like I'm gonna have fun over the next few days. I've decided to upgrade my laptop to Win7 - 64 bits. I love re-installing all my software!!!!

The installs are relatively quick - it's getting all the settings back to just the way you like them that is the real treat.
I like to take my time with that - takes me weeks.

He's actually crying on the inside, but he's Canadian, so he's too polite to tell you.

After that I have to decide which edition of Win7 I put on the netbook. Do I really need more than Home Premium????????

When I got my Vista notebook last year, I had to upgrade to Ultimate in order to install Sql on it. I'd assume that Win-7 would be the same.

This is a netbook. Home Premium is probably good enough.
My laptop/notebook will be Ultimate - 64 bits

I think I am the only one who does not use a Blackberry or an Iphone... 😀
I also have a mobile phone - it's mobile, and a phone. That's it - it doesn't browse the web, show my location using GPS, integrate with my email, or make toast.
I would be interested in upgrading if anyone can recommend a model that makes decent toast

Check the iPhone. It might have an app for that. 😛

Just take a couple of crackberries for the heating elements, add an Iphone with its toaster app to control the elements and temperature - you're set.
