Man, all y'all have been having a good time.

Luckily, my own personal knowledge of fixing database corruption is pretty limited so, for once, I was able to keep my mouth shut & just watch. It's been entertaining.

It never ceases to amaze me how much a question can change from first post to solution.

An entertaining one recently started like this:

how can i convert a field with nvarchar type to int?

Now, ok, so my psychic abilities may not be the equal of some others on here...so I was surprised when it turned out that numeric data was being stored in an NVARCHAR field...in Urdu. The requirement was to convert a string like N'???' to '462' - the latin-character equivalent!!!

And the one that Flunked out is DDS

Now that's just not fair to dentists. The one that flunked is called "chiropracter" 😛
