If you use is_ms_shipped = 0, does it not exclude those tables? Those two tables, no. They are tweener tables. They were technically shipped with SQL Server, but not truly activated until a user creates a diagram. They are considered User tables by MS.
Whether they show up in a database is also a bit inconsistent. I have them showing up in those queries whether I have a diagram or not, and sometimes they don't show up at all. In this scenario it has to do with the extended properties - but I see nothing that correlates.
Those tables do not show up until you expand the "Database Diagrams" and select to install the necessary components (or some such dialog). This installs those tables, not the presence of any diagrams.
That was my understanding - but i had those tables present prior to doing that for a couple of databases. I think maybe somebody scripted those tables from somewhere else and then ran the script in various databases. That would tend to explain both parts of the issue that I see with mine.
I still think it might be safest to explicitly exclude those two tables in the script.

Steve, There is no need for any apology...:-) You cannot control what others write or how others behave. Thanks for removing the comment though. It wont look good on him or the site when others see the post.

You might be interested to know that the comment is still there in a quote, some posts later.

Done. Agree with keeping things civil and professional.Just to be sure, did I ever cross the line? Don't mind being admonished if I did.
Nope, very calm and professional replies 🙂
If you want to be admonished then maybe for continuing to answer him, however honourable it was, gave him the soapbox to stand on :hehe:
If the dog bites the hand that feeds it, why give it the other hand
And btw I don't think any number of apologies would make it up to Roy :crying:, he certainly did not deserve that at all, that has to be the worst insult I have seen on the forum 🙁
Far away is close at hand in the images of elsewhere.

Thanks for standing up for me 🙂 I appreciate it very much. This is the first time I got insulted here. Feels kind of strange... But what ever.. I will try to help others when ever I can with the limited knowledge I have.
Don't sweat it Roy. You can always do what I do when the mud starts to fly... disapear. Then post it on The Thread.

Lynn, step away from this one.you'll end up writing it and I think the guy is just having a play.
I think in this case Lynn is going to help him since Lynn is also doing the same thing. Setting it up. This gives Lynn a chance to Master that side as well.. 🙂 Right Lynn? :hehe:

George and Roy, as long as he plays by my rules, I'll help him. He has to show me what he is doing before I give him anything. I am working too hard to get DB Mirroring up and running for our new PeopleSoft production systems that I'm not going to give away the farm. Plus, i am writing an article as I do it also: Database Mirroring: A Beginners Journey to High Availability Databases.
I don't plan on giving away the store on that thread.

That article is going to be a good read I think. I will be looking forward to it. I have never done Database mirroring. And I know nothing about it.

Mirroring is pretty cool. However it's like replication in some sense. While it's working, it's great. If it breaks, it can be hard to fix. Often easier to just reset it up again

I have learned a lot about database mirroring in the last couple of weeks, and I know I have only scratched the surface. There is a lot more to learn beyond just what I am currently implementing.
There is also quite a bit that they don't talk about that I am learning as well.

Someone tried to pimp-slap me with a performance benchmark. Big mistake.

That was a very explanatory posting that you put up there. You explained all the points. I am sure the OP will change his ways from thinking Cursors are fast...:-) The OP will probably see the light at the end of the tunnel..:-)
