Are the posted questions getting worse?

Steve, could you give this call a nudge - it appears to be stuck....

    http://www.sqlservercentral.com/Forums/FindPost853470.aspx

The same message three times in a row - he's determined someone will write it for him.

I could not resist. Serves him right.

Good one, Paul. Although I'd forgive the triple-post (maybe a slow refresh or some such tech glitch), your response was perfect. I did try to imply to the OP what a sticky situation he may be in for if he uses it directly and I hope he takes the advice to heart: how will explain code he didn't write and which uses a technique probably not yet covered in the class he's apparently in, and how does he expect to learn if he doesn't put in the effort?

I think this week has been particularly desert worthy. It seemed fairly quiet the previous few weeks.

    ... Pl help ...

I have to ask. Is the OP too lazy to type "Please" instead of "Pl"?

Been mostly lurking around this thread, but . . .

I just posted (what I think is) a clarification to this. Let's see what kind of a response we get . . .

  • I understand what he wants. I'm just not entirely sure how to resolve it. I'm messing around with some ideas.
