I'm off to see the Wizard ... ... in to the desert ...You should have advised the OP that SQl Server would start giving single beeps when the number of rows inserted gets near the max and will give double beeps when it has reached its capacity....:-)
No beeps - just sirens, lights and whirring.

But if it's running on a server in the data center, you could miss the warning signs.
So stay within sight of the server when adding users.:hehe:

Then there is one application that uses MSDE... and they have it locked down so that we can't even access it to do anything...

Well, USPS just delivered my "SQL SERVER MVP Deep Dives". After a quick scan through it, all I can say is WOW! All these MVPs did a great job!

I've had mine for about 4 weeks now but I haven't had the chance to do any reading. I did manage to get Kevin kline to sign it Thursday night. I'm sorry I didn't have it for Louis Davidson too sign it too in December.

Have to agree. It is a good read. It is on my currently reading list (on my blog), and probably will stay there for quite some time.

Yup I deal with Kofax as well. same deal with the stopping the services and copying out the files for backups. Serious pain in the arse.

Louis is going to be at the SQL Saturday in Richmond, VA this Saturday (1/30/2010)... and I'm going. If you get your book to me, I'll take it to get him to sign it for you...

Did you link it to the Water cooler itself? When I click on the link, it brings me back to this page itself.... 🙂

I expect the link is supposed to go here: http://www.sqlservercentral.com/Forums/Topic852906-338-1.aspx
It's our PhD candidate again.
