    Grant,

I didn't think it was that bad, but when it doubt, doesn't hurt to apologize.

Yep. I agree. As soon as it was pointed out I threw myself on my sword, just in case.

Maybe they just reminded you of Richard Head.

Although if they don't know Richard, it may lead to more questions.

    This[/url] Richard Head?

Ooooooooo! Happy! Made my morning. Thanks.

I'm afraid to click. Might come up 'access denied' by our filter.

Have to check it out from home....

    Welcome. Everybody loves our Dick.

A little risque for so early in the morning!

  • So, anyone want to bet what will happen with my laptop? Already had a SSC member that works for Toshiba ping me. I said I'd get back to him tomorrow after I call back today.

I don't know, but if they don't hurry up and get it back to you in good working condition, I fear someone may need a proctologist.

It wouldn't even have to be a good one at that point.

As for Steve's question - it looks like the editorial may have been worthwhile. But at that point (if Steve must ping the SSC Toshiba person), then it may well be fringing on Special Treatment.

After what Steve has gone through so far, take advantage of what you can.

Yes indeed. Surprised am I not though that she was impressed by the good people here. Surprised I am that she she spoke up (not your typical lurker).

  • It is special treatment, which is why I asked for 24 hours. I appreciate the gesture, though even if this is resolved I am likely going to donate the laptop to a Scout in need, a charity, or something else. At this point Toshiba has burned some bridges here.

Hmmm...I don't think I could feel comfortable donating it. I might donate it and tell them the history as well as tell them that it is "fixed." Toshiba has "fixed" it twice in the past.;-)

What if your case history suddenly appears ordered correctly - would you trust them more?:-P
