I got Fallout 3 (Game of the Year edition) for birthday and just bought myself Dragon Age. Both going to have to wait though. Computer reinstall scheduled for this week.
Besides, I still have Witcher and Dawn of Discovery unplayed (and unopened)

Busy yesterday. Splitting wood and working on a chapter for a book... oh, and playing Halo ODST.Dragon Age: Origins for me, and putting together my xmas present (snowblower/thrower).
I keep looking at the snow chute wondering how it would do with, say - pork chops? It can toss snow some 50' after all:).
50' is pretty good. Our driveway is over 200 yards long, so I don't have a blower, we have to have a guy plow it or we can't get out.
I've also been playing a lot of Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2.

Fallout 3 has been a major distraction for a long time now. They keep coming out with new modules.
I still don't think it's as good as Fallout 1 & 2, but it's pretty good.
Sounds like I'll need to take a look at Dragon Age. Like I need distractions.

Game of the year edition comes with 5 modules. I suspect it'll keep me busy for quite some time.

Yup. I haven't played it yet (hasn't even arrived yet), but the previews remind me of the good aspects of KotOR, KotOR 2 and the Baldur's gate series.
Am currently replaying BG1 (it aged very well) and have craving to replay KotOR or KotOR 2

I'm not even remotely a Star Wars fanboy, but I had a blast playing KotOR & 2. They were just well designed games with interesting stories... unfortunately jammed into the Star Wars universe, but good games.
If Dragon's Gate is 3/4 as good, it'll be worth checking out.

I wonder how you guys get time to play these console games. 😛
I bought a PS3 and a dozen games during Thanksgiving weekend, haven't played a single game yet :w00t:

I've been busy with EVE Online recently. That and still playing City of Heroes. I don't have and don't currently want a console. Used to have an XBox (pre-360) and enjoyed one or two games on it, but didn't play it enough to be worth buying or upgrading.
Basically, I suck at those games, so no point in spending money to prove that on a regular basis. 🙂

What is this 'console' you speak of? Just about all of my games are for PC.

I got my son away from Half Life 2 on the Orange Box to do some drumming for Beatles Rock Band.

Play Station, XBox and Wii.
I wasn't aware that the games you were referring are PC games, my bad..
Let me rephrase the original one "how you guys get time to play these PC/console games ?"

50' is pretty good. Our driveway is over 200 yards long, so I don't have a blower, we have to have a guy plow it or we can't get out.
I'd like 200 yards. My son got stuck the other day, so I went out and plowed our driveway yesterday. It's 1700', and if there's more than a foot, we're talking a couple hours to plow.

DA:O is very good. It's more akin BG2 than NWN in my mind, although it didn't quite go back to the wide open environments of BG1 (which I loved for some reason.)
And yes - Fallout3 was quite good, and will keep you quite busy for a while.

You win!
But remember, I'm playing with a handicap. I've got that much land in New England. Talk about being the exception to the 1/4 acre rule.
